What are your most important resolutions?
I want to quit smoking!!!
ReplyDeleteShika,
DeleteI think that is a great resolution. We can keep each other accountable for quality conscious decisions.

Our list are nearly identical...Coincidence??? All great minds...
ReplyDeleteIn addition:
- I really want to concentrate on sending out a lot of love, peace, and positivity. I'm serious. In doing some reflection I find myself going to going to the negative far too quickly. Yeah, yeah...I get that this sounds silly and simple, and that's okay for me. Silly and simple may be just what I am in need of.
- I want to be better at "Keeping In Touch"...I don't just mean the quick and easy Facebook comment. Don't get me wrong, I love Facebook as a means of connecting - However, I want to go back to the basics. SNAIL MAIL!!!
- More music! I am a total music lover...Inside and out, to the depth of my soul, and I've gotten away from it. I am ready to pour myself into music again, and leave the television turned off.
Silly and simple is certainly not a bad approach. It keeps things...well, simple. I think we could all use a little more simplicity in life. Don't get me wrong, I like my gadgets but they need a break from me. Good luck and thank you for sharing.

Great goals! I'm right there with you on eating consciously. While I started this full-on in 2012, and it's done great things for me and my family, I want to go up to the next level in 2013. Goals: eat vegetarian meals multiple times per week, cut down dairy and meat consumption in general, and when we do consume meat and dairy, to make sure it's locally/humanely grown. I also want to have my own organic garden in 2013. Big plans! I need a bonnet, I think.
ReplyDeleteAndi,
Delete-- you have been "right there with me" for a whole lot of things over the last few years. I really appreciate the support. If you get a chance, read "The China Experiment." The book really has some very compelling information. In some of my upcoming post I am going to point out local and national businesses that support a more conscious approach. Though, this information is readily available, I hope to provide a good source of information for people that are interested. Thanks for reading!
